Who we are
Welcome to Little Lemon Art Studio – a place where creativity meets connection, and little hands are free to express big feelings.
My name is Courtney Lemmons, and I’m a mom of two toddlers, a wife to an incredibly supportive husband, a published author, and a children’s book illustrator based in Germantown, TN. Inspired by my family and fueled by my passion for emotional growth through art, I created this studio as a safe, joyful space for children ages 2 through Middle School age to explore, express, and imagine.
What began as creative playtime with my own children has grown into a vision: a welcoming studio where emotional development and imaginative exploration are at the heart of every paintbrush stroke, splatter, and squiggle.
At Little Lemon, we believe art is more than just a craft—it's a form of communication. Through themed projects, sensory play, and process-based exploration, we help children build confidence, express emotions, and discover the joy of creating without boundaries.
Whether it's their first time picking up a brush or their tenth masterpiece, every child is welcomed, seen, and celebrated here.
