FOUNDER + TEACHER

Founder of Little Lemon Art Studio in Germantown, TN, Courtney Lemmons is a published children’s book author, illustrator, and graphic designer, as well as a wife to her biggest supporter and mom of two creative toddlers who inspire everything she builds.

With a background in mixed media, illustration, and design, Courtney has been running a successful graphic design business since 2020, partnering with small businesses to create custom tactile designs that bring their ideas to life. Her passion for creativity, storytelling, and hands-on learning inspired the creation of Little Lemon Art Studio — a space where kids can express themselves freely through color, texture, and imagination.

Courtney believes that creativity is more than art — it’s a way of thinking and feeling. Through process art, she helps children strengthen fine motor skills, experiment with materials, and think beyond the lines of “right” and “wrong.” Her goal is to give every child the confidence to explore, take creative risks, and find joy in discovery — because creativity can’t be taught, only inspired.

ASST. TEACHER/ IN-HOUSE YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Grace is thrilled to be part of the Little Lemon Art Studio team in Germantown, TN! As a movement enthusiast and certified yoga instructor, she believes that art and movement work hand in hand to help children connect with themselves, express emotions, and grow in confidence.

Her approach encourages kids to explore, experiment, and embrace creativity — reminding them there’s no “wrong” way to make art. Grace hopes to help each child feel supported, inspired, and free to bring their imagination to life through both process art and mindful movement.

At home, Grace and her bilingual family speak German and English and enjoy an active, down-to-earth lifestyle — spending time outdoors, tending their garden and chickens, and baking fresh sourdough bread.

LEAD ART TEACHER

Raised to color outside the lines, Samantha is the lead teacher for both older kids and adult classes at Little Lemon Art Studio in Germantown, TN. She holds a Master’s in Teaching from the University of Memphis and is passionate about helping artists of all ages discover joy and confidence through creativity.

A true maker at heart, Samantha can usually be found in her studio creating something new when she’s not teaching. She believes in learning through doing, and her classes invite students to explore their imagination, take risks, and find happiness in the process.

At home, she’s a mom of three kind humans, married to a graphic designer, and surrounded by too many plants, a few rescue animals, and endless inspiration.
